Chamber gives break on Carnegie seminar

STAFF REPORT

The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce (SMACC) has announced a breakfast seminar to be conducted by the Dale Carnegie Training on May 6.

The seminar, titled “Coaching for High Performance,” will run from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Saltgrass Steakhouse, located at 221 Sessoms Drive. The cost is $25 for chamber members and $29 for non-chamber members.

The seminar will focus on how businesses can make sure they have all the right people in the right positions performing at an optimum level. Participants will learn how to determine if they have the right people in the right roles, how to create buy-in to new ideas and strategies, and how to provide “in the moment” feedback to improve performance as they learn a proven coaching process.

Those interested can click here to register. Chamber members are asked to enter that they are chamber members in the “billing instructions” box to receive the chamber discount.
