Another collapse eliminates Bobcats

Another late-inning collapse took down the Texas State baseball team Saturday, ending a 41-17 season two games into the NCAA Tournament. The Bobcats lost to Army, 7-4, when Army scored five times in the bottom of the eighth inning.

San Marcos police honor heroic officers, civilians

Officer Candace Brinkkoeter was awarded a Police Medal of Honor for pulling a semi-conscious man from a burning vehicle in March last year. She was among honorees at a San Marcos Police Department ceremony this month.
