Kyle to grant $30,000 to local organizations


KYLE – The Kyle City Council has set aside $30,000 for supporting service organizations in the city, and is taking applications for disbursement of these funds.

Qualifying organizations must directly provide services to Kyle citizens, and final recommendations will be made by the city council’s community relations committee. The council will then hear these recommendations, and make final decisions on where to allocate these funds during its meeting on May 19.

Application forms can be downloaded from the City of Kyle’s website, and must be submitted to the city secretary by noon on April 17. Forms are also available at the Kyle City Hall, the Kyle Public Library, or by calling the city at (512) 262-1010.
