Faces of Hospice in county courthouse

STAFF REPORT

The Hays County Courthouse is featuring a series of photos dedicated to the courage of those currently in hospice care programs through April 30, in the rotunda.

The exhibit, called “Faces of Hospice,” features the work of local San Marcos and Hays County photographers.

“The Main goal of ‘Faces of Hospice’ is to educate our community about hospice,” said project leader and Licensed Master Social Worker Alicia Taylor, “and how Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) Hospice Care brings peace, dignity, respect and comfort to our patients and family.”

Said Taylor, “Faces of Hospice portrays our patients living their life to the fullest, despite being terminally ill – being true to themselves until their last breath.”

The Hays County Courthouse is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
