Citizens are invited to a meeting, held by the Hays County Commissioners Court, to develop a “greenprint” for parks and conservation planning in the county.
The meeting, held on April 1 at the Wimberley Community Center from 6:30-8:30 p.m., will provide input using an interactive mapping model, developed after the first greenprint meeting last year. The maps help delineate areas based on water quality and quantity, parks and recreation opportunities, protection of sensitive ecological areas, cultural and historic resources, scenic corridors and conservation of farm and ranch lands.
The Wimberley Community Center is located at 14068 Rural Route 12. Directions can be found at the center’s website.Email | Print
