The Texas State Department of Communication will celebrate its 21st annual communication week from March 2-6. The recently announced schedule includes several events intended to appeal to a wider audience than communication majors, including discussions on business etiquette, nonverbal communication and interviewing skills.
The event will include a wide range of political and communications professionals, including former White House press secretary Scott McClellan, who worked for George W. Bush, and Jim Medick, chief pollster and political consultant for President Barack Obama.
All events are free and open to the public. For more information contact the Department of Communication at (512) 245-2165 or email Felipe Gonzales.
