Cleantegrity to hold workshop during RISE conference

STAFF REPORT

Cleantegrity, a San Marcos company specializing in sales and service for cleantech companies, will hold a session for the 2009 Relationship and Information Series for Entrepreneurs (RISE) conference on March 3 from 10-11:30 a.m. at its San Marcos office.

RISE is into its third year of connecting and exchanging ideas through an annual conference series held for Austin area entrepreneurs. Cleantegrity’s workshop is titled “Collaborating with the University.” The company has teamed with Texas State’s Career Services office to provide real-world experience and guidance.

“This session will help expand the diversity of economic development in Central Texas,” said Cleantegrity CEO Steve Harvey. “Attendees will gain valuable insights that can immediately be applied to growing their top-line revenue.”

Registration is available online through Feb. 28. Sessions are free to attend. Due to limited space, registration is required. Cleantegrity’s office is located on the downtown square in San Marcos at 109 E. Hopkins Street, Suite 204.

  1. We have several leaders from Texas State presenting at this session. Seats are still available, please go to the RISE Austin website to register (the hyperlink is embedded in the “available online” in the last paragraph of the staff report). Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions, would love to see all 20 seats filled, as we can all benefit from starting/increasing our collaboration with the University! And, like all the RISE sessions, nobody is “making any money” doing these sessions, it is truly in the spirit of fellow businesspeople helping each other out in a variety of business building issues.

  2. Speakers include Juan Vasquez (Small Business Development Center), Chris Jones (Career Services), Kim Porterfield (Community Relations). We will also have several different local business leaders share their company’s experiences, best practices, tips and insights on how to obtain and manage interns in a manner beneficial to all involved. Plus, this sessions covers more than “just” internships.

Seats are still available, so if you are interested and able to attend, just come on over Tuesday morning to the Cleantegrity office at 109 E. Hopkins, Suite 204 (we are above the Cycle shop, overlooking the county courthouse), the more the better. Session starts at 10am, we will be there beforehand, you can “register on site” and we would love to see you there!
