Two SMHS students go to state PTA art contest

San Marcos High School students Bradley Tanksley and Lauren Masters have qualified for the state level competition of the PTA Reflections art competition. The 2008-2009 theme was “Wow!”

The National PTA Reflections, started in 1969 in Colorado, provides opportunities for students in grades Pre-K to 12 to express themselves and receive positive recognition for thier artistic efforts. Students participate in the Reflections program by submitting entries to their local PTA or PTSA in good standing. The San Marcos High School PTSA sponsors photography and visual arts for grades 9-12.
