Clerk's office to close for part of Wednesday

The clerk’s office for the City of San Marcos will be closed Wednesday morning for staff training.

City Clerk Sherry Mashburn said the staff will be trained on new equipment and software to be used for processing payments for vital statistics such as birth and death records, as well as passports.

The office will close at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, and will re-open at noon.
