Kyle police hope video stirs tip on bank robbery


Kyle police are seeking leads on a bank robbery Saturday afternoon at the IBC Bank in the HEB Plus at Interstate 35 and Farm-to-Market Road 1626 in Kyle.

According to police reports, a white woman wearing a baseball cap entered the bank about 2:30 p.m., approached a bank employee and asked for change. While the teller was making change, the woman handed her a note that said, “This is a robbery. Don’t look up.”

The bank employee handed an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who is described as a heavy-set, white female in her 40s wearing a ball cap, a long sleeve shirt with various designs and dark-colored pants.
