It’s a good time to take a close look at your habits and try to improve them. You can make resolutions about work or about your family, but one of the best personal choices you can make is to improve your health.
Wellness specialists agree that there are four basic ways to make a big difference in the way you feel. If you simply make a few changes in any of these areas, you’ll be rewarded. All agree that for the best long-term success, one should start small.
“Make the changes that are easiest for you. In the end, each step gets you closer to good health,” says Heath Herrera, M. Ed., CSCS, personal trainer and wellness specialists with CTMC Wellness.

For those who are ready to make a bigger commitment to their own wellness, Herrera recommends the CTMC Fitness Boot Camp that he teaches. The six-week high-intensity camp meets three days a week at three separate times. Participants report increased endurance, strength, agility and self-esteem while also decreasing, inches, weight, stress and more. The next offering of the popular Camp is slated to begin Jan. 5.
