  1. Allen Bridges was a good friend and was never too busy to smile and laugh with you. You will never leave our hearts or our prayers. God Bless You Sheriff!

  2. A good man and such a sad loss. Our sympathies to his family and all whose lives he blessed.

  3. A true loss for our community. Alan was a gentle giant who loved Hays County. He leaves some big boots to fill. My prayers go out to his family and the entire law enforcement community. Good bless you Alan we will miss you.

  4. God Bless you Sheriff Bridges. You were a true friend. It’s also vey sad and inappropriate to report that Bill Huddleston and friends (Montague’s) have already started polling commissioners and laying groundwork for an appointment as the next sheriff of Hays County. You can deny all you want but any commissioner will tell you they have already received call less than 24 hours after the death of Sheriff Bridges. Lets honor Sheriff Bridges first before the political games start. Bless you Sheriff Bridges.
