The district received a total of 28 GPAs for 2008, said John Thornell, Hays CISD Executive Direction of Assessment. Middle schools led the recognition.Chapa Middle School earned the most GPAs, with five, he said, including commended performance for reading, writing and social studies and comparable improvement for reading and math.
