The Kyle Police Department is inviting residents to the next “Community Crime Watch” monthly meeting to be held in the Kyle City Hall on Monday, October 20th, at 6:30 pm..The Kyle Police department has created the “Community Crime Watch” program to begin fostering an open, involved, and collaborative partnership with the community, said Kyle Police Chief Michael Blake. “Via these monthly meetings, it is the department’s goal is to share information regarding crime and traffic trends, and to help our residents be better informed on matters that may affect them; their families; their neighborhoods or their businesses.”
Police department representatives including the Chief, the Patrol Captain, neighborhood beat officers and detectives will be on hand to share information and insight, and to individually respond to specific questions and concerns.
This program serves as the first step in a number of new community-based initiatives that the department hopes to implement over the next twelve months.
The meeting will be hosted at the Kyle City Hall on Monday, August 18, 2008, beginning at 6:30pm.
All residents are encouraged to attend and become an integral part in maintaining the high quality of life we enjoy here in the city of Kyle.
