Woman allegedly attacked boyfriend with golf club

A San Marcos woman is out on bail after a ruckus last week culminated in her allegedly attacking her boyfriend with a golf club after smashing his truck windshield and mirrors.

Abiegail Restrepo, 21, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony, and criminal mischief, a Class B misdemeanor. The victim, Christopher McKinney, 21, is also charged with criminal mischief for allegedly breaking the windows and mirrors on her vehicle.

The fray unfolded Wednesday at the Dakota Ranch apartment complex, 1818 Ranch Road 12. McKinney was treated at the scene for a bloody nose.

Aggravated assault is punishable by two to 20 years in prison.  Restrepo was released on bonds totally $12,000 for the two offenses; McKinney on $2,5000 for his criminal mischief charge.
