CELEBRATING SUCCESS: Mayor Susan Narvaiz and the City Council honor the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District for achieve Exemplary and Recognized designations at Bowie, De Zavala and Crockett Elementary Schools. The Texas Education Agency designated the schools as top schools for high academic achievement in the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills test. Mayor Narvaiz proclaims September as Bowie, De Zavala and Crockett School Month–and gave each a Key to the City for opening the doors of opportunity for the students.
