On 9-19-08, at approximately 3:30am, the Hays County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an aggravated robbery at the Speedy Stop, a convenience store located at 5003 Overpass Road in Buda.
Deputies were told that a white or hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build and wearing a pinkish colored shirt, khaki shorts, and a UT skull cap and whose face was painted black entered the store. He went behind the counter, produced a knife, and forced the attendant to open the cash register. He fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash.
No one was injured in this incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
