The Kiwanis of San Marcos held their weekly meeting at Grin’s Restaurant at noon on Thursday. The group led by President Pam Cook as the group hosted speakers Paul E. Nelson and Robert M. Fox from the Mensor Corporation of San Marcos. They were guest of member Lon Shell.
The attendance was one of the largest of the year to learn more about the Mensor Corporation. Mensor is Latin for measurer. Nelson discussed their corporate goals, and their outstanding customer satisfaction. They have 58 full time employees, 19 employees with over 25 years of service and 16 engineers and technologist.
Nelson told the group, “We have no parts you can’t hold in your hands, but over two million in stock.”

The group noted that September 18th at 6 p.m. they will hold their annual Installation Banquet at the Price Center. The group also recognized visitor Ryan Perkins, Director of Business Development for SparkNet Creative, a web design and e-commerce business based here in San Marcos and built by his fellow high school classmate, Kasey Johns.
