Three men held for Kyle area home burglary


Three men are in the Hays County jail charged with burglarizing a home in Wildcat Hollow off Old Stagecoach Road south of Kyle.

Mauricio Alvarado Rodriguez Jr, 17, Moises Rodriguez, 20, both of Kyle, and Carlos Sefriano Albarez, 31, of Bastrop are charged with burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony. The Rodriguezs’ bond is set at $10,000; Albarez, who had outstanding warrants from Bastrop, Caldwell and Hays counties, is being held on $240,000 bond.

The homeowners told deputies they found an unknown car parked in their driveway and flushed the men out as they approached the house at about 2:30 p.m.. One of the suspects was found hiding neear the home at about 5 p.m. and the other two were arrested later at Center Street address in Kyle.
