Susan Smith (second from left) of the San Marcos Public Library presents picture books to the staff of the Hays County Personal Health Department. Kimberly Sanders (far left), Margie Rodriguez, and Priscilla Hargraves (far right) are pleased to receive these books for families to share when they visit the clinic at 401 A Broadway. The library has also placed children’s books at the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center, the San Marcos office of Women, Infants, and Children (W.I.C.) Supplemental Nutrition Program, and in the offices of pediatricians’ in conjunction with the Bluebonnet Lions Reach Out and Read early literacy program.
