Dermatologist Ana Rodriguez, M.D. and Nurse Practitioner Sherri Crespin volunteered their time at Thermon for a skin cancer screening August 15, 2008. They were pleased with the huge response they received. Twenty eight employees had their skin checked and questions answered. Materials were provided by the American Academy of Dermatology to assist in educating the participants on sun protection and prevention. The skin cancer screening was part of a health awareness program that Thermon instituted. The event was initiated by Thermon’s Human Resources Director Terry Jordan.

Also asked to volunteer was the Skin Magic MedSpa’s licensed esthetician, Jamie McCulley. She provided information on services available to improve and maintain healthy skin.
