Hays County Crime Stoppers is assisting the Hays County Sheriff’s Office in solving the following Aggravated Robbery. At approximately 10:00pm on Thursday, July 24th, a male was severely beaten and left for dead as 3 suspects stole several musical instruments from a residence in the 400 block of East Summit Dr. in Wimberley. The victim answered a knock at his front door and was advised by the white male at the door that his house was on fire. As the victim exited his residence to investigate the fire claimed by the white male, the victim was struck on the head by some sort of club, causing the victim to fall to the ground. As the victim lay on the ground, 2 other white males severely beat the victim, bound the victim with duct tape and left him for dead.
With the victim lying motionless on the ground in front of his residence, the three suspects made entry into his residence and stole a black Fender Guitar, red Gibson Guitar, a Fender guitar amplifier, a Marshal Amplifier, the victim’s wallet and cell phone. The suspects then left the residence and went to the victim’s car where they stole the radio, a leather jacket, and checkbook. Due to the victim’s eyes being full of blood resulting from the beating, he was unable to provide Sheriff’s Investigators with any detailed descriptions of the suspects.
