The San Marcos Chamber of Commerce held a belated ribbon cutting for Meadows Insurance Agency on Thursday and also Mike Mahon, President of RVOS Insurance, sponsored a free lunch to all of the City of San Marcos.

After serving this area for its insurance needs for many years, Mark Meadows wanted to give back to his clients and residents of San Marcos.

They offer a wide variety of insurance services which include: Auto, Home, Commercial, Small Business, Mobile Home, RV, Motorcycle, Watercraft, Life Insurance, Annuities, IRAs, Medicare Supplements, Retirement, Long Term Care, Group and Individual Health Plans.

Meadows have been in the insurance business almost 20 years. His career began with Texas Farm Bureau and MET Life. He went semi-independent in 1999 with the long-term goal to be where he is now. He has lived in San Marcos all of his life except for the short period that he lived in Houston.

Meadows has been married for 24 years to his wife Barbara and they have two daughters Anna Kay Koehler and Elizabeth Meadows. All of his family was in attendance to lend their support to their father.

Meadows commented,” The outpouring of our community was great to see at the chamber ribbon cutting and free lunch. It has been a pleasure to serve the people of San Marcos and central Texas since 1987.”

Nicolie Lyles, Meadows Office Manager, closed by saying, “The event was lots of fun, we had a great turnout and our offices were full.”
