Rio Vista Swimming Pool will open Friday, May 23, for the summer season at Rio Vista Park.
Pool hours for the Memorial Weekend are Friday, May 23, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday through Monday (Memorial Day) from 12 noon to 6 p.m.
Entry fees are $2 for youths and $3 for adults. Children under age 5 are admitted free. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Season passes are available for $40 for youth, $60 for adults and $150 for family at the Activity Center. For more information call the aquatics program at 393-8280.
During the summer, the pool is open Tuesdays through Sundays and is closed Mondays. Adult swim hours are 12 noon-1 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays. Hours for open swim are 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 12 noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Rio Vista Swimming Pool offers flume slides, a state-of-the art water playground, new pool decking and bath houses. The pool has a fully accessible ramp for people with disabilities.
Programs available to the public include swimming lessons for all ages, Guard Start Junior Lifeguard program, and adult swims at noon.
