On May 17, 2008 at approximately 3:05am The Hays County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 100 Block of Tristans Way in Buda in reference to a Burglary of a Vehicle Report. Deputies were able to obtain vehicle information that resulted in the identification and traffic stop of the vehicle.
The Hays County Criminal Investigation Division conducted an Investigation into the burglaries that occurred late Friday night and early Saturday morning of the following subdivisions; Creekside, Remuda Trail, Oxbow Trail, The Meadows and possibly more. The investigation lead to the recovery of numerous unclaimed property and miscellaneous items including multiple debit/credit cards.
Four Individuals from Austin were arrested and charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle (Class A), Credit Card Abuse (State Jail Felony), and Unlawful Use of a Criminal Instrument (Class B) and placed in the Hays County Jail.

3. Taylor, Randall Reginal B/M Date of Birth 12-15-1989
4. Cleveland, Dominique Deshon B/M Date of Birth 12-20-1989
Municipal Court Judge John Burke set bonds totaling $9,000.00 each on Padilla, Urbanski, Taylor and Cleveland. All four suspects are still in custody at this time.
Sheriff Allen Bridges stated, “this exemplies a partnership between the residents of Hays County and the Hays County Sheriff’s Office. The residents of Hays County did an outstanding job as witnesses and reporting the suspicious activity to the Hays County Sheriff’s Office.”
