Texas State students with a valid student ID can pick up free ticket vouchers on Thursday, March 20, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. for the Texas State women’s basketball team’s first round WNIT game against Prairie View A&M at the Texas State athletic ticket office located inside the Darren B. Casey Athletic Administration Complex.
A total of 200 free student ticket vouchers have been made available through a donation by the Texas State Fast Break Club for Thursday night’s game, which tips at 7 p.m. Students will be allowed free entry into the game by presenting their voucher along with their Texas State student ID beginning when the doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Unlike regular season Texas State home athletic events, students must have a voucher along with their student ID for free admittance into the basketball game. Students without a voucher must purchase tickets through the Bobcat ticket office for $5.
Thursday’s game between the Bobcats and Panthers marks the first-ever WNIT appearance for Texas State. The winner of the game will advance to play at Texas Tech on Saturday, March 22.
