Hays County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for help identifying a man who robbed a Buda convenience store last night with a kitchen knife.

At about 11:02 p.m. Sunday, a white or Latino man entered the Speedy Stop, 5003 Overpass Road, Lt. Leroy Opiela, said the office’s spokesperson. He demanded money from the clerk was given an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as being about 21 years old, about 5 feet, 1 inch tall with a goatee. At he time of the robbery, he was wearing a baggy, dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and baggy light colored shorts.
